About Roger Dickinson

Roger Dickinson is a Licensed Massage Therapist who believes true healing involves the integration of body, mind, and spirit. His approach is rooted not only in training, but in lived experience. Diagnosed nearly a decade ago with Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH)—a painful and progressive condition that traditional medicine considers incurable—Roger was advised to undergo multiple spinal fusions. In 2019, he was facing the implantation of a permanent rod from his neck to his pelvis.

Refusing to accept that as his only option, Roger turned to massage therapy, meditation, yoga, and other Eastern healing modalities. Over the course of several years, he reversed the disabling effects of DISH and restored his mobility, vitality, and peace of mind—without surgery. This journey inspired his deep commitment to helping others unlock their own healing potential.

Roger operated a thriving massage therapy practice in Roswell, Georgia, where he offered personalized therapeutic massage sessions that blend clinical techniques with holistic modalities, including energy work, breath work, meditation, and essential oils.

Now He currently serves at the Center for Massage & Natural in Asheville, North Carolina, where he leads a six-room professional clinic with Paula Dukes Licensed Massage Therapist.

Roger Dickinson believes that complete healing encompasses the body, mind, and spirit. Massage therapy significantly benefited his personal healing process over the past five years, and is passionate about passing these benefits on to others through holistic modalities.

About a decade ago, he was diagnosed with Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH) his physicians recommended undergoing multiple spinal procedures including fusions at multiple levels over several years, as they told him his body was fusing itself together anyway. According to Western Medicine, DISH has no cure. However, holistic modalities saved him from having a rod implanted from his cervical spine to his sacrum in 2019. He has now reversed the disabling disease by connecting his body, mind, and spirit, through massage therapy, meditation, yoga, and other eastern methods of healing.

He serves clients in Asheville North Carolina 28801 at the Center for Massage and Natural Health
